The Tennessee Psychiatric Association participated in the American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APAF) event on January 28, 2024 held at the Belmont University Fisher Center. The goal was to increase awareness and to provide resources to athletes, musicians, and students at the Middle Tennessee Universities (Belmont, Vanderbilt, Lipscomb, Tennessee State University, Trevecca, and others. APA Foundation Encouraged Action Nationwide with this First Major Mental Health Public Awareness Initiative. The Event was FREE, and served lunch to the crowd.
